Swimwear trend for 2010 has to be cutout monokinis

Winter is practically behind us and that means it’s time to spring into fabulous swimwear. The dominant swimwear trend for 2010 has to be cutout monokinis. A monokini is a one-piece swimsuit featuring various cutout designs that has really gained in popularity in recent years. The sexy cutout trend is not going to stay fashionable just in clothing but swimwear as well. Hip celebrities like Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Lindsay Lohan were photographed wearing cutout swimsuits. In 2010, there are even more abstract and interesting cutouts that you don’t want to miss. Watch out bikinis!

With endless cutout variations, these swimsuits can be advantageous according to your body type. Keep in mind that swimsuits don’t have to be boring. Use the cutout designs strategically by placing on certain body parts either you want to hide or show off by highlighting.

The cutout monokini also makes a superb top for beach parties. Simply put on a flowy skirt, hot platform sandals, and a cute clutch. You can see an example from the Emilio Pucci Spring 2010 RTW fashion show where the finest swimwear collection this season was featured. Have fun with bold prints like tie dye, animal, geographic, or even polka dots. Go for a solid color if you are looking for a more elegant and sophisticated look.

You can easily find cutout swimsuits at most department stores and boutiques. As well as online shops – Victoria’s Secret, Figleaves, ASOS all have some amazing monokinis. Last but not least, remember, when it comes to any swimsuit, finding one well-fitted to your body type is absolutely crucial. Even it takes a little extra time.
